Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Engineer located in Cairo. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. Key tasks include conducting assessments, planning power distribution, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support efficient operations. The Electrical Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of electrical systems within the organization.

Key responsibilities

-Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems, including power systems and distribution networks.

-Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems and production/utility equipment.

-Supervise installation, calibration, and testing of electrical machinery.

-Support troubleshooting and problem-solving to optimize electrical performance.

-Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and energy efficiency standards.

-Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project, production, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

-Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field.

-Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production and utility equipment.

-Proficiency in Electrical Design, Electricity, and core concepts of Electrical Engineering.

-Familiarity with GMP, safety standards, and relevant industry regulations.

-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Cairo residence is required.

-Experience with relevant software tools for electrical design and analysis is a plus
