Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    ETL workflows and data pipelines
    to integrate data from multiple source systems into Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
  • Capture and translate
    business and data requirements
    into efficient technical ETL solutions.
  • Perform
    data mapping, transformation logic
    , and ensure
    data quality and consistency
    across systems.
  • Monitor and
    optimize ETL jobs
    for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve
    ETL and data-related issues
    , ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with
    data architects, analysts, and business teams
    to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Support
    production deployments
    , conduct impact analysis, and perform root-cause analysis for data issues.
  • Maintain
    technical documentation
    for ETL processes, data flows, and transformation logic.
  • Contribute to
    process automation
    and improvement initiatives to enhance data integration efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with
    data governance
    ,
    security
    , and
    enterprise architecture standards
    .

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
    .
  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience
    in ETL development and data integration for enterprise-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of
    ETL tools
    such as
    Informatica
    ,
    IBM DataStage
    ,
    Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
    , or
    Talend
    .
  • Proficiency in
    SQL
    and
    Shell scripting
    for data extraction, validation, and automation.
  • Experience with
    relational databases
    (e.g.,
    Teradata
    ,
    Oracle
    ,
    DB2
    ,
    SQL Server
    ).
  • Familiarity with
    data warehouse concepts
    ,
    data modeling
    , and
    data quality frameworks
    .
  • Exposure to
    big data
    or
    cloud data integration platforms
    (e.g., Hadoop, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow) is a plus.
  • Good understanding of
    Unix/Linux environments
    and scheduling tools (e.g.,
    Autosys
    ,
    Control-M
    , or
    Airflow
    ).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work in cross-functional teams.
