Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Chef located in Hurghada. The Executive Chef will oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. Responsibilities include managing kitchen staff, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, budgeting, ordering supplies, and collaborating with other departments to create exceptional dining experiences for guests. The Executive Chef will also ensure the implementation of sustainable and environmentally friendly practices within the culinary operations.

Qualifications

  • Culinary expertise, including skills in menu planning, food preparation, and recipe development
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills to mentor and lead kitchen staff
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations in a kitchen environment
  • Budget management, inventory control, and sourcing experience
  • Knowledge of sustainable cooking practices and commitment to incorporating eco-friendly methods
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Formal culinary education and/or proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior kitchen role within luxury hospitality
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work seamlessly with diverse teams
