Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Linux System Administrator, based in Cairo, Egypt. The Linux System Administrator will manage, monitor, and maintain Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and security. Day-to-day responsibilities will include system configuration, troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support to users, and implementing robust network security measures. The role requires proactive management of system resources and continuous improvement of infrastructure efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in System Administration and Linux System Administration
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • Experience in providing effective Technical Support to end-users
  • Knowledge of Network Security and ensuring system safety from cyber threats
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a dynamic work environment
  • Prior experience with automation tools and scripting languages is an advantage
