The Marketing Team Leader will drive merchant-focused marketing strategies and campaigns, ensuring our value proposition resonates with our merchant base. This role combines strategic planning, hands-on execution, and team leadership to increase merchant acquisition, retention, and engagement. He/she will work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Service teams to ensure that our marketing is targeted, impactful, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  Lead the planning and execution of merchant-focused marketing campaigns across digital, print, and in-person channels.

  Develop communication strategies that clearly convey the benefits of our products and services to different merchant segments.

  Manage and mentor the marketing team, ensuring alignment with KPIs and deadlines.

  Coordinate with Sales and Partnerships teams to support merchant acquisition and retention initiatives.

  Oversee the creation of merchant-focused content, including brochures, email campaigns, case studies, and social media posts.

  Analyze campaign performance, market trends, and merchant feedback to optimize future initiatives.

  Maintain brand consistency and tone across all merchant communication touchpoints.

  Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure merchants are informed about new features, updates, and promotions.

  Organize merchant events, activations, and training sessions to build strong relationships and drive loyalty.

Willingness to work outside the office environment when needed — conducting market surveys, attending on-ground activations, and engaging directly with merchants.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

Years of Experience: 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in fintech, payments, or merchant services.

Technical Skills:

  Excellent communication and presentation abilities (Arabic & English proficiency is a plus).

  Solid understanding of merchant needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.

  Proficiency in marketing tools (CRM, automation platforms, analytics tools, etc.).

  Creative thinker with strong analytical skills and a results-driven mindset.

Proven track record in developing and executing merchant-facing marketing campaigns.
