Mission (what success looks like)

  • Predictable delivery across squads with clear scope, dates, and quality gates
  • Transparent portfolio visibility (roadmaps, risks, budgets, capacity)
  • Continuous improvement via metrics, retros, and playbooks
  • Alignment of engineering, product, design, QA, and stakeholders

Core Responsibilities

  • Portfolio & Roadmaps: Build and maintain the company-wide delivery roadmap; run quarterly and monthly planning; manage dependencies and critical paths.
  • Governance & Standards: Define SDLC, Definition of Ready/Done, change control, risk registers, RAID logs, and escalation procedures.
  • Capacity & Resourcing: Maintain capacity models, utilization heatmaps, and hiring signals; run intake/prioritization with clear trade-offs.
  • Delivery Operations: Orchestrate sprint/PI ceremonies, release trains, cutover runbooks, and post-release reviews.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Own KPIs dashboards (lead time, on-time delivery, burn-up, quality, cost vs. plan); publish weekly executive summaries.
  • Quality & Risk: Partner with QA/Sec/DevOps for test coverage, release criteria, and incident management; maintain risk mitigation plans.
  • Tooling & Data: Standardize ClickUp/GitHub Projects/Jira, Confluence/Notion, and analytics; ensure data hygiene and single source of truth.
  • Stakeholder Management: Align execs and squad leads; run status reviews; communicate scope changes and impacts crisply.
  • Coaching: Level-up PMs/SMs/Tech Leads in estimation, slicing, and forecast accuracy; run PMO guild and playbook updates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years in program/project management with 3+ years leading a PMO or multi-team portfolio.
  • Proven delivery of complex, integrated platforms (mobile + backend + third-party integrations).
  • Strong command of SDLC (Scrum/Kanban/Lean), estimation, risk management, change control, and release management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder facilitation; can simplify complex trade-offs.
  • Hands-on with work management tools (ClickUp/Jira), Git-based workflows, and reporting dashboards.

Nice to Have

  • Fintech/e-commerce domain, payments, or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD, QA automation metrics, and security gates.
  • Certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Prince2) are a plus—not a substitute for outcomes.
