What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct legal due diligence for new projects, partnerships, and expansions to assess risks and ensure compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (vendor agreements, distribution contracts, NDAs, MOUs).
  • Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks, rights, and obligations tied to business operations and strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations in Egypt and Saudi Arabia (corporate, labor, consumer protection, data privacy).
  • Manage legal matters related to business expansion, licensing, and entity formation.
  • Handle intellectual property registrations, renewals, and infringement cases to protect brand assets.
  • Collaborate with external legal advisors and government entities when required.
  • Support HR with employee-related legal issues, contracts, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Monitor and interpret new laws and regulatory changes, advising management accordingly.
  • Oversee dispute resolution efforts (negotiation, mediation, litigation management).
  • Prepare and maintain legal documentation, policies, and internal procedures to strengthen governance.
  • Provide legal training and briefings to internal departments to enhance compliance awareness.
  • Support the development of compliance frameworks, whistleblower policies, and ethical standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate legal role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Solid expertise in commercial contracts, corporate governance, and labor law.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.

  • High attention to detail with integrity and discretion in managing multiple priorities.

  • Experience in Retail is a must.
