We are seeking a motivated and fast-paced
Business Development Executive
to drive growth by acquiring new merchant partnerships, managing existing relationships, and expanding our footprint within the beauty industry.
The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and highly organized — someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, excels at multitasking, and is confident in negotiating with business owners and brand representatives.
Key Responsibilities
Merchant Acquisition
- Identify, research, and approach potential merchants that align with Glowlist's brand standards and target audience.
- Conduct outreach via calls, meetings, and follow-ups to present Glowlist's value proposition and partnership opportunities.
- Negotiate partnership terms, including commissions, discounts, and promotional visibility.
- Coordinate the preparation and signing of contracts, ensuring all details are accurate and compliant.
Onboarding & Relationship Management
- Support merchants throughout the onboarding process, including app registration, promo code setup, and staff training.
- Ensure merchants understand how to use the Glowlist platform effectively for redemption and client engagement.
- Maintain continuous communication with partners to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and strengthen long-term relationships.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns, ensuring strong visibility for merchants.
- Coordinate with product and tech teams to ensure smooth merchant integration and functionality on the app.
- Collaborate with merchants to design exclusive offers and promotions that enhance user engagement.
- Prioritize partnerships with flagship beauty and wellness brands to enhance platform credibility and visibility.
Growth & Performance Tracking
- Drive overall business growth through strategic partnerships and expansion of Glowlist's merchant network.
- Analyze market trends within the beauty and wellness industry to identify potential acquisition opportunities.
- Track acquisition metrics and provide detailed performance insights and progress reports to management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management — preferably in beauty, fitness, retail, or e-commerce. - Industry Knowledge:
Understanding of the beauty and wellness industry (products, services, trends) is highly preferred. - Target Audience Insight:
Familiarity with Gen Z and Millennial consumer behaviors and preferences. - Communication & Negotiation:
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to build and sustain partnerships. - Networking:
Strong ability to identify, approach, and secure new merchant collaborations. - Organization:
Capable of managing multiple acquisition pipelines and maintaining a structured workflow. - Tech Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools. - Soft Skills:
Fast-paced, accommodating, adaptable, and capable of multitasking effectively. - Team Spirit:
Collaborative and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for beauty, fitness, and wellness.

- Existing relationships or experience working with beauty, fitness, or wellness brands.
- Prior experience with digital platforms, mobile apps, or e-commerce ecosystems.
- Experience collaborating with marketing teams on partnership campaigns or promotional initiatives.
