Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer, based in Cairo. The Mechanical Engineer will oversee, design, and implement mechanical systems for facilities while ensuring optimal system performance and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include conducting system diagnostics, addressing operational issues, ensuring routine maintenance, and collaborating with the operations team to enhance infrastructure efficiency. The role also involves preparing reports and technical documentation related to project progress and system performance.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles, HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems
  • Experience in diagnostic skills, system troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, technical drawings, and project design
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, mechanical codes, and compliance standards
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities for effective coordination with teams and stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Prior experience in facilities management or large-scale commercial systems is a plus
