Head of Biosecurity

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement biosecurity plans and policies across all company sites.

• Manage and organize disinfection and sanitation operations, and monitor farm entry and exit procedures.

• Establish and execute effective pest control programs (insects, rodents, and other pests).

• Supervise and direct Pest Control Technicians and Biosecurity Workers to ensure proper implementation.

• Monitor and evaluate pest control activities and submit periodic reports to senior management.

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards when handling materials and chemicals.

• Coordinate with technical and veterinary departments to ensure integrated preventive measures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Science, or a related field.

• 10–15 years of professional experience in biosecurity and pest control (preferably in poultry companies).

• Comprehensive knowledge of biosecurity protocols and safety standards in animal production environments.

• Strong supervisory, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage field teams effectively.

• Proficiency in preparing technical reports and monitoring performance indicators.
