Responsibilities

  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Cairo, Egypt. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, reconciling bank statements, processing invoices, tracking expenses, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. Additionally, the Junior Accountant may be tasked with analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies

Qualifications

  • Basic accounting principles and practices, familiarity with accounting software, and experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately with numbers
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Relevant qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience with accounting in an international or corporate setting is a plus
