Responsibilities
:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against invoices or delivery notes.
  • Organize and store items in an orderly and accessible manner.
  • Issue materials or items to staff as per requests or approved documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or computerized systems.
  • Conduct regular stock-taking and physical inventory counts.
  • Ensure store security, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
  • Report damaged or missing items to the appropriate personnel.
  • Keep records of stock levels, orders, receipts, and deliveries.
  • Coordinate with procurement and other departments for stock requirements.
  • Follow up on pending deliveries and reconcile discrepancies.

Qualifications & skills:

  • Proven experience as a storekeeper +3 years
  • Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software (e.g., ERP, SAP) is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety and handling procedures.
