We are seeking a highly competent and detail-driven Technical Architect to support the development, coordination, and technical assurance of architectural documentation across all project stages. The role is fully office-based and focuses on delivering high-quality technical outputs, ensuring compliance with project requirements, design standards, and multidisciplinary coordination protocols.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical acumen, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to interpret and translate design intent into precise construction-ready information.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Documentation & Detailing


• Produce and develop comprehensive construction drawings, technical packages, and coordination documents.


• Prepare accurate architectural details, sections, elevations, and schedules in accordance with project standards.


• Ensure all drawings meet project specifications, client requirements, and applicable codes.


• Maintain, update, and manage BIM models, ensuring accuracy and alignment across all work stages.

  1. Technical Review & Quality Assurance


• Conduct thorough reviews of shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents submitted by consultants and contractors.


• Perform internal QA/QC checks to ensure consistency, technical integrity, and completeness of documentation.


• Identify design gaps, technical risks, and inconsistencies, and provide clear corrective guidance.


• Ensure documentation adheres to internal drafting standards, templates, and file management protocols.

  1. Multidisciplinary Coordination (Office-Based)


• Coordinate architectural input with structural, MEP, ID, landscape, and other disciplines through back-office communication channels.


• Participate in coordination workshops and ensure that all design interfaces are addressed and resolved.


• Consolidate and incorporate multidisciplinary feedback into the architectural package and BIM model.

  1. Tender & Technical Support


• Prepare technical deliverables for tendering, including drawings, schedules, specifications, and IFC packages.


• Support the preparation and review of BOQs in collaboration with the cost control/estimation team.


• Respond to RFIs, clarifications, and technical queries submitted by internal teams or external stakeholders.

  1. Compliance, Standards & Technical Governance


• Ensure all documentation complies with local regulations, international building codes, and client-specific standards.


• Maintain knowledge of architectural materials, construction systems, and industry best practices.


• Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal technical libraries, standard details, and BIM protocols.

Requirements:


• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; postgraduate studies are an added advantage.


• 4–8 years of proven experience as a Technical Architect.


• Demonstrated expertise in architectural detailing, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination.


• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and related technical tools.


• Strong knowledge of local building regulations, international codes, and technical standards.


• Experience with high-rise, large-scale, or complex multi-disciplinary projects is preferred.
