We are seeking experienced TRS (Tubular Running Services) Operators and Supervisors with proven deepwater and CRT (Casing Running Tool) experience to support ongoing offshore drilling and completion campaigns in Egypt.

Successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of TRS and CRT equipment, ensuring integrity, reliability, and adherence to HSE and client standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
TRS Operator
  • Operate and maintain CRT (Casing Running Tool) systems – both hydraulic and mechanical – during casing and tubing running operations.
  • Perform hands-on operation of TRS equipment, including power tongs, torque-turn systems, handling tools, and make-up units.
  • Conduct pre-job checks, pressure/function tests, and calibration of CRT and TRS equipment.
  • Support the TRS Supervisor in the planning and execution of deepwater casing running operations.
  • Accurately capture and record job data (torque-turn graphs, connection integrity data, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on CRT and TRS tools offshore.
  • Ensure all work is performed in full compliance with HSE procedures and company policies.
TRS Supervisor
  • Lead and coordinate TRS and CRT operations offshore, ensuring equipment and personnel are properly prepared and procedures are followed.
  • Supervise rig-up/rig-down of CRT assemblies, power tongs, and associated control systems.
  • Interface directly with the rig crew, drilling team, and client representatives to plan and execute operations safely and efficiently.
  • Oversee torque-turn data acquisition, connection evaluation, and quality control during casing and tubing runs.
  • Verify CRT performance and troubleshoot technical issues in real time.
  • Ensure all pre-job and post-job documentation is completed accurately, including operational reports and lessons learned.
  • Mentor and train junior TRS crew members to maintain competency and safety standards.
