Senior Technical Office Engineer
will be responsible for tasks such as preparing shop drawings, creating Bill of Quantities (BOQ), overseeing civil and electrical engineering aspects, and managing quantity surveying.

Responsibilities:

Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation:

  • Conducting quantity surveying and preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
  • Utilizing BIM-based quantity takeoffs for enhanced accuracy.
  • Preparing invoices for subcontractors and owners.
  • Preparing extracts for subcontractors and final extracts with pricing.

· Drawing and Modeling:

  • Developing shop drawings for structural and architectural components using software like Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Reviewing drawings for accuracy.
  • Coordinating between architectural and civil drawings.

· Project Coordination and Management:

  • Working with Building Information Modeling (BIM) to optimize project coordination and management.
  • Utilizing 4D BIM for construction scheduling and 5D BIM for cost estimation and budget control.
  • Managing project documentation, including invoices, material submittals, and progress reports.
  • Coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of resources.
  • Ensuring compliance with technical specifications and standards.

· Reporting and Documentation:

  • Preparing work progress reports and contractors' extracts.
  • Making reports on work needs on site.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • 5-7 years of experience in Technical Office department construction industry
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM is a must
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
