Role Overview

We're looking for a
T-shaped Webmaster
—someone who combines deep expertise in WordPress + Elementor implementation with a broad understanding of UX design, SEO, content workflows, and performance optimisation.

This isn't a passive site maintenance role.

You will fully own Tactful's web presence, from core website architecture to campaign pages, from technical performance to user experience. You'll collaborate directly with our content, product, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life, implement enhancements, and continually optimise the site for clarity, speed, engagement, and conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimise Tactful's WordPress website using Elementor and custom components
• Implement new pages, structures, and components based on marketing briefs or product launches
• Ensure all web properties are performant, mobile-optimised, accessible, and SEO-aligned
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to translate mockups into scalable, responsive implementations
• Use analytics and CRO tools to monitor performance, identify UX friction, and recommend solutions
• Manage CMS configuration, plugin stack, security patches, and integrations (e.g., forms, CRMs, analytics)
• Create and maintain page templates and reusable modules to streamline publishing workflows
• Stay current with best practices in performance, privacy, and web standards

Qualifications

• 4+ years
  of hands-on experience managing WordPress sites, including full-page builds with Elementor
• Comfortable working across design, structure, and light front-end logic (HTML/CSS/JS tweaks)
• Experience designing in Canva, Figma, Adobe, etc
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, structured data, and content architecture
• Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, Hotjar, or similar tools
• Ability to prioritise user experience and business outcomes in every build
• Excellent communication and project management skills—proactive, responsive, and reliable

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with LottieFiles or basic animation/motion tools
• Experience managing website localisation or multilingual setups
• Experience supporting landing page A/B testing or marketing automation tools
