As a Site Planning Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the planning and scheduling function to ensure the project is executed on time and efficiently. You will develop, monitor, and update the project master schedule, providing critical insights into progress, potential delays, and resource requirements. By leading your team and coordinating closely with site managers and engineering departments, you will proactively identify deviations, recommend corrective actions, and ensure all reporting accurately reflects the project's status, ultimately driving the project towards its key milestones and successful completion.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare milestone dates of the project, then prepare execution plan of the project "Primary Schedule" and align with the management and project team.
  • Present a detailed time schedule baseline, in alignment with the project's team, to the management and the client to have an agreed plan prior to the project execution.
  • Communicate with the contracts team the claims presented and its impact on the time extension and cost changes and highlight all occurred obstacles to avoid similar situations in future plans.
  • Monitoring and controlling reports by collecting data on all time information from the project engineers (office based & onsite) to work on daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure proper planning or lagging schedule that might need corrective actions.
  • Follow up regularly on the shop-drawing, procurement, and the construction activities in terms of planned versus actual time and cost to ensure proper project execution within the planned timeframe.
  • Attend all clients' progress meetings and arrange for internal progress meetings.
  • Set periodic targets for all procurement, engineering and construction departments and follow up on their progress and coordinate in the corrective actions to mitigate any delays.
  • Collect area of concerns "Risk / issue log" per project to raise any issue to the top management for decision making.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or architectural engineering.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Project Management (PRMG) – PMP – PSP is a plus.
  • Strong experience in Primavera
