Role Description

This is a contract-based, on-site role for a Data Scraping Specialist, located in Qesm El Maadi. The Data Scraping Specialist will be responsible for extracting and organizing large sets of data from various online sources. Day-to-day tasks include identifying relevant data sources, utilizing data scraping tools to collect structured data, and ensuring data integrity and accuracy. The role also involves maintaining and optimizing scraping scripts to adapt to changes in source websites, and collaborating with the team to deliver actionable data insights.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Data Scraping and Data Analysis with a strong understanding of data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent Data Search and finding information and details on different websites
  • Excellent in English is a must
  • Experience in Data Management, including organizing, cleaning, and maintaining large data sets.
  • Knowledge of Data Modeling and its applications in structuring and organizing data effectively.
  • Familiarity with web scraping tools and technologies is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R would be a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
