Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of products throughout the production process. This role involves implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to meet industry standards and customer expectations, ensuring that every product meets the company's quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and tests at various stages of production to detect any quality issues.=
  • Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and any deviations from standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing quality performance metrics and suggestions for improvements.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for enhancing product quality.
  • Implement corrective actions based on inspection findings and feedback.
  • Educate employees on quality standards and best practices for ensuring product quality.
  • Develop training materials to reinforce the importance of quality in production.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and safety protocols related to product quality.
  • Support quality audits and assessments from regulatory agencies and clients.
  • Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformance reports to identify root causes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure their products meet quality requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Relevant quality certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001, CQE) are preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to quality management.
