As we expand our Cairo operations, we are looking for a highly skilled Security Engineer to help us strengthen and protect our clients' IT infrastructure from cyber threats. If you are passionate about cybersecurity and have hands-on experience securing networks, cloud environments, and enterprise systems, this role is for you

Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage security solutions to protect IT infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments.

Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats, intrusions, and vulnerabilities.

Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify weaknesses.

Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organisation.

Manage firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, and identity & access management (IAM) solutions.

Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and other cybersecurity frameworks.

Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to implement security controls in cloud and on-prem environments.

Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and implement mitigation strategies.

Train employees on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT security operations.

Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention (IDS/IPS), SIEM, and endpoint security solutions.

Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and identity management solutions.

Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and incident response.

Familiarity with security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and GDPR compliance.

Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in high-pressure situations.
