Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a
Senior Production Engineer
based in
Cairo, Egypt
.

The Senior Production Engineer will oversee and manage the
home furniture production process
, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality output, and adherence to production schedules. Responsibilities include
production planning, workflow optimization, quality control
, and implementation of process improvements.

The role requires close coordination with the
design, upholstery, finishing, and quality departments
to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products that meet the company's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production operations of home furniture (wood, upholstery, finishing).
  • Develop and execute detailed production plans and schedules.
  • Monitor workflow efficiency and ensure product quality at each stage.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
  • Coordinate with design and quality teams to resolve technical or production issues.
  • Manage and train production staff to maintain productivity and craftsmanship standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in
    home furniture manufacturing
    (wood, upholstery, or finishing).
  • Strong knowledge of
    Production Engineering and Planning
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Quality Control
    and process improvement methods.
  • Excellent
    leadership, analytical, and communication
    skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in
    Production, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
    (or related field).
  • Ability to manage multiple production lines and meet tight deadlines.
