Role Description

  • Supervise daily accounting activities (GL, AP, AR, Bank, Cash).
  • Ensure accurate posting of journal entries and transactions.
  • Review and approve accounting entries and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate general ledger records.
  • Lead
    monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
    activities.
  • Prepare and review
    financial statements
    (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Analyze financial data and provide management reports.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports to management.
  • Control
    production costs, overhead allocation, and inventory valuation
    .
  • Review
    WIP, finished goods, and raw materials accounts
    .
  • Work closely with the costing team and production department.
  • Ensure accurate
    BOM costing & inventory movements
    .
  • Monitor
    cash flow, bank balances, and facilities
    .
  • Supervise bank reconciliations and cheque management.
  • Review supplier and customer aging analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 6–8 years of experience
    in accounting, preferably in
    manufacturing companies
    .
  • Strong background in
    general accounting, taxation, and reporting
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    Egyptian accounting & tax laws
    .
  • Advanced
    Excel & reporting skills
    .
  • High accuracy & attention to detail.
  • Leadership & team management skills.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
