Job Summary:

To lead, design, implement, and manage the organization's
network and security infrastructure
using
Huawei technologies
, including
iMaster platforms
. The role ensures high performance, reliability, automation, and security of enterprise networks while driving operational efficiency through intelligent network management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network & Security Operations

  • Lead daily operations, monitoring, and optimization of the enterprise's
    network and security infrastructure
    .
  • Configure, implement, and troubleshoot
    Huawei routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers
    .
  • Utilize
    Huawei iMaster NCE
    for network provisioning, automation, and centralized management.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of WAN, LAN, WLAN, and VPN environments.
  • Oversee segmentation, VLANs, and secure connectivity across business units.

2. Security Management

  • Implement and manage
    Huawei USG Next-Generation Firewalls
    , intrusion prevention systems (IPS/IDS), and security policies.
  • Use
    iMaster Security Controller (iMaster-SC)
    for centralized policy management, visibility, and threat response.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance checks.
  • Monitor and respond to security events, incidents, and alerts.

3. Network Automation & Optimization

  • Drive automation and intelligence in network operations using
    Huawei iMaster NCE
    and related tools.
  • Optimize network configuration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting through AI-powered analytics.
  • Integrate network data with ITSM or monitoring tools for proactive issue management.

4. Project & Team Leadership

  • Lead infrastructure upgrade, migration, and expansion projects using Huawei solutions.
  • Coordinate with Huawei technical support and vendors for project execution and issue resolution.
  • Manage and mentor the Network & Security team, ensuring continuous skill enhancement.
  • Oversee documentation, training, and best practice development.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed documentation for network topology, configurations, and change management.
  • Generate regular performance and security reports through
    iMaster dashboards
    .
  • Provide status updates and improvement recommendations to management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
    in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5–8 years
    of hands-on experience in
    network and security administration
    , with at least
    2 years in a leadership role
    .
  • Proven experience managing
    Huawei network infrastructure
    and
    iMaster platforms (iMaster NCE / iMaster-SC / iMaster Access / iMaster WLAN)
    .
  • In-depth understanding of
    routing, switching (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, QoS), network automation, and security principles
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    network design, deployment, and troubleshooting
    in large-scale environments.
  • HCIP / HCIE
    (Huawei Certified ICT Professional / Expert) –
    Routing & Switching or Security or Datacom
    .
  • HCIA – iMaster NCE
    or equivalent experience with Huawei automation tools.
  • CCNP / CCIE (Cisco) – Advantageous.
  • ITIL Foundation – Preferred.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring ability.
  • Deep knowledge of Huawei networking and iMaster platforms.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities.
