Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt. The Procurement Manager with a contracting background will oversee procurement activities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the efficient sourcing of materials and services for various construction projects. Key responsibilities include developing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, maintaining supplier relationships, managing inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. The role involves close collaboration with project teams to meet project-specific procurement needs.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate suppliers, costs, and procurement data effectively.
  • Experience in operations management and inventory management to optimize procurement processes and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and maintain positive supplier relationships.
  • Customer service orientation to ensure the satisfaction of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with procurement regulations, industry trends, and construction materials is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the construction or contracting industry.
