Lecturer /Associate Professor / Professor in Business Informatics

Job profile:

We are looking for Candidates with academic and professional expertise in the following area: Business Informatics, Information Systems, Data Mining, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence.

The position is a Full- time onsite position. Successful Candidates will have to fully relocate to Cairo, Egypt.

Qualifications :

  • Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Business Informatics, Information Systems, Computer science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field as well as a track record of internationally published research in enterprise systems, business analytics, data mining, e-government, and/or business process management.
  • Experience teaching courses such as: Programming, Data Structures, Digital Transformation Business Process Management, Enterprise System Application, Information & Communication Architecture, Artificial Intelligence in Business, Big Data and NoSQL, and others.
  • Candidates should have industry experience and technical competencies as well as the ability to develop and sustain externally funded projects.
  • Track record of collaborative research and successful supervision.
  • High capacity to develop pedagogical innovations and to manage a study program.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written).

Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who have a record of accomplishment in independent and applied research.
