Main responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with government authorities and local entities, in compliance with company regulations, to promote awareness of the company and support the business.
- Ensure that communication between the government and the company is well coordinated and dealt with promptly, following the company's business principles and strategy.
- Identify and manage risks related to authority management and monitor changes in government policies and requirements that may affect company activities.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions with company management and provide direct support to all departments on issues pertaining to relations with authorities and the business community.
- Coordinate permit and licence request activities, facilitating the necessary authority approval processes.
Skills and experience required:
- University degree in a relevant discipline (Economics, International Relations, International Business, Law, etc).
- Previous experience in a government-relations or similar role.
- Experience working with local authorities and government.
- Strong knowledge of government policy related to the energy sector.
- Strong communication skills, able to present ideas effectively to a range of stakeholders.
- Professional working level of English.
