The Technical Director is expected to actively contribute to technical work while leading and mentoring development teams. The ideal candidate is a strong full-stack technology leader with deep expertise in modern web development, solid architectural judgment, and proven experience delivering complex customer-facing software solutions.

The role combines execution and leadership. The Technical Director will define and guide system architecture, participate in critical technical decisions, and ensure high-quality delivery across backend and frontend development. At the same time, they will manage, coach, and scale development teams working on both tailored customer solutions and internal products.

The Technical Director will also play a key role in large projects, acting as a senior technical representative in customer discussions, helping translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute hands-on to software development across backend and frontend systems
  • Define and oversee technical architecture for digital transformation projects and products
  • Guide development teams in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions
  • Act as a senior technical authority in complex or high-impact customer projects
  • Lead, mentor, and manage development teams across multiple initiatives
  • Drive adoption of modern development practices, including Vibe Coding / AI-assisted development
  • Ensure consistent delivery using Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, product, and leadership teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience in software development
  • Expert-level experience in backend or frontend development, with strong understanding of the other
  • Solid experience in system architecture and solution design
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring software developers
  • Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum delivery
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)

Leadership & Management Skills

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop software developers
  • Experience with hiring, coaching, performance management, and team growth
  • Ability to balance hands-on development with leadership responsibilities
  • Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and decision-making mindset

Communication & Personal Skills

  • Clear communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders
