Senior Electrical Engineer

Mission Critical Accountabilities:

1- Develops, upgrades, tests, and monitors electrical components and machinery, ensuring conformity to manufacturers' drawings, technical data sheets, and milling/animal feed plant standards.

2- Ensures correct stock levels for maintenance operations by frequently reviewing spare parts, identifying obsolete items, and coordinating reorders based on breakdown, preventive, and scheduled maintenance for flour/feed milling machinery.

3- Interprets, maintains, and backs up schematic drawings, system software/codes (including PLCs and automation systems commonly used in milling/feed plants), and guarantees data integrity.

4- Provides technical support for annual plant maintenance budgeting, controls spare parts usage, and participates in activities to reduce costs and optimize plant efficiency.

5- Reviews machine efficiency and downtime reports (feed millers, sifters, conveyors, mixers, etc.), initiating timely corrective actions to ensure operational targets are achieved.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1- Upgrades and modifies existing electrical systems for flour and animal feed machinery; coordinates project execution, commissioning, and handover of new equipment.

2- Ensures all work complies with 5stars plant safety, food-quality, and internal regulatory guidelines.

3- Oversees periodic preventive maintenance for electrical systems (motors, drives, instrumentation, automation), and generates maintenance/service reports.

4- Designs and improves maintenance strategies to minimize breakdowns and extend machine lifecycle.

5- Conducts regular evaluations and coaching for the electrical team, identifies staff training needs, and plans for skill development relevant to the milling and feed industry.

6- Validates and inspects spare parts/materials against specifications, ensures compliant storage conditions (considering flour/feed mill environmental requirements).

7- Drives continuous improvement initiatives, optimizes preventive maintenance schedules, and implements modern industrial best practices.

8- Ensures quality requirements are fulfilled for high-quality flour/feed output from electrical engineering perspectives.
