Job Purpose:

The
Senior Financial Analyst
will serve as a strategic partner to the Group CFO, with a strong focus on investment analysis and financial planning. This role is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, supporting capital allocation decisions, and driving financial performance across the group. The ideal candidate will bring deep analytical expertise, commercial insight, and a proactive approach to financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Analysis & Strategic Finance:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to evaluate investment opportunities, including M&A, joint ventures, and capital projects.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for executive leadership and board review.
  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess risk and return profiles of potential investments.
  • Monitor post-investment performance and provide insights on ROI, payback periods, and strategic alignment.
  • Support the Group CFO in capital allocation decisions and portfolio optimization.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes across business units.
  • Analyze actual vs. budget performance and provide variance analysis with strategic recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business planning and decision-making.

Reporting & Insights:

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
  • Consolidate group-level financial data and ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to support strategic goals.

Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand financial drivers and support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Provide financial guidance on pricing, cost management, and investment prioritization.

Governance & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Support audit processes and liaise with internal and external auditors as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
  • Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CFM) is highly desirable.
  • 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis, with a strong background in investment evaluation and strategic finance.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience in a group or multinational environment is a plus.
