Procurement Specialist
with
4–6 years of hands-on experience
who understands that purchasing is not just buying. It is coordination, compliance, timing, and trust.

This role sits at the heart of our procurement and logistics operations, working closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, finance, sales, and warehouses to ensure smooth, compliant, and cost-effective material flow.

What You'll Be Responsible For

You will manage the full procurement cycle, from issuing purchase orders to final customs clearance and delivery. This includes preparing and issuing purchase orders through the company system, coordinating with suppliers on pricing, availability, confirmations, and documentation, and following up through manufacturing, packing, and shipping stages.

You will handle shipping and logistics coordination by negotiating with freight forwarders, comparing transit times and costs, arranging pickups, reviewing shipping documents, and resolving any freight-related issues such as delays or storage fees.

You will oversee customs clearance activities, including registering shipments on MTS/NAFEZA, preparing customs documentation, following up with clearance companies, government authorities, and ensuring compliance certificates, releases, and Form 4 submissions are completed accurately and on time.

Internally, you will work closely with Finance to coordinate payments, insurance, customs duties, and shipment cost analysis, support Sales with delivery timelines, pricing inputs, and technical documentation, and coordinate with Warehouses on inbound shipments, samples, and delivery reports.

You will also maintain complete digital and physical shipment files, prepare periodic procurement and supply chain performance reports, evaluate suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearance agents, and contribute recommendations for operational improvement.

What We're Looking For


•
4–6 years of experience
in procurement, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably within industrial, mechanical, or engineering-focused environments


• Proven exposure to international suppliers, shipping terms (EXW, CIF, C&F), and customs and banking procedures


• Strong coordination and follow-up skills across multiple stakeholders and shipments


• Experience working with ERP or procurement systems and customs portals is a strong advantage


• High attention to detail, ownership mentality, and ability to work under operational pressure
