Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior-Level Associate specializing in Arbitration, located in Cairo, Egypt. As a Senior Associate, the selected candidate will handle complex commercial and investment treaty arbitration cases, participate in high-stakes disputes, oversee and conduct complex legal research, draft pleadings, witness statements, and work with experts, and participate actively in hearings. The candidate will also work in an integrated manner with team seniors and partners and will oversee and mentor junior team members and is expected to have strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years' experience in a reputed arbitration group, including commercial and investment treaty arbitration. Requirement: GAR100 or GAR30 arbitration group.
  • Fluency in English is essential; fluency in Arabic or French is an advantage.
  • A strong academic background in law, with a required advanced degree (LL.M, JSD, or equivalent) from a top tier university, preferably from the US, the UK or France.
