Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Engineer at Grupo AJE in 6th of October. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for Electrical equipment maintenance, maintenance engineering, repair tasks, preventive maintenance, and electrical maintenance. The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment to optimize production processes.

  • Equipment Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering, and Maintenance & Repair skills
  • Experience in Preventive Maintenance and Electrical Maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Description:

  • Handle all electrical maintenance activities across the sites while Supervising the electrical maintenance team
  • Preferable knowledge machines and their electricity circles (drives, motors, automation,)
  • Implement maintenance plans, strategies, procedures, and methods.
  • Make all reports about the Maintenance operations
  • Prepare all electrical spare parts for all machines at the right time.
  • Follow Maintenance and installation of all equipment "New or repaired".
  • Prepare studies & purchasing requests.
  • Follow & maintain PET bottling production lines (injection - blowing - filling.)
  • Develop the root cause analysis for major breakdowns.
  • Monitor machine history & scorecards while updating the maintenance strategy/master plan accordingly
  • Be accountable for site assets and corrective/preventive/autonomous maintenance activities
  • Contribute to projects in the assigned area to ensure that maintainability, cost-effectiveness, and safety requirements are delivered
  • Analyze equipment & production lines and set plans for reliability improvement
  • Implement a safe environment by maintaining 100% closure for all safety and quality issues across all production facilities and utilities
  • Implement maintenance plans, strategies, procedures, and methods.
  • Make all reports about the Maintenance operations
  • Prepare all electrical spare parts for all machines at the right time.
  • Follow Maintenance and installation of all equipment "New or repaired".
  • Prepare studies & purchasing requests.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering Electrical / Mechatronics.
  • FMCG experience bottling background is a must.
  • Cairo residence nearby on 6th October is preferred.
  • Languages: Very Good command of the English language (Speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Leadership skills, communication skills, planning skills, organization, and discipline.

  • More than 2 years relevant experience in maintenance including the same position
