Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive
accountant supervisor
to lead our accounting team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial operations. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, provide guidance to junior accountants, and ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily accounting operations and ensure proper recording of all financial transactions.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead and coordinate the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Review and approve journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
  • Prepare, review, and submit tax filings in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Support and coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to maintain financial integrity and efficiency.
  • Coach and guide junior accountants to ensure continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Assist management with financial analysis and decision-making support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
    in accounting, finance, or a related field (a master's or professional certification such as
    CMA/CPA
    is a plus).
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
    , including at least
    2 years in a supervisory role
    .
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
    .
  • Experience using
    ERP or accounting software
    is required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
