Job Objective:

A Site Installation Engineer is required to work in the State of Kuwait.

To supervise the installation of aluminum systems (doors, windows, facades, cladding, skylights, and light metal structures) and ensure that all works are executed according to the approved technical drawings, specifications, and quality and safety standards, within the assigned time schedule.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Review shop drawings and architectural/structural plans before installation begins.
  2. Prepare and organize the daily and weekly installation work plan in coordination with the Project Manager.
  3. Supervise installation teams on-site and ensure that work complies with technical specifications.
  4. Follow up on material and tool delivery and ensure their proper storage and handling at the site.
  5. Monitor installation quality and ensure the accuracy of joints, fixings, and final finishes.
  6. Coordinate with consultants and main contractors regarding technical modifications or comments.
  7. Resolve any technical issues or obstacles that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
  8. Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and track completion rates.
  9. Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health standards during execution.
  10. Assist in testing installed systems to verify proper operation before final handover.
  11. Supervise maintenance or repair works after installation when required.

Qualifications Required:

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Architectural or equivalent).

  • Experience:
    3–7 years of experience in aluminum and glass façade installation.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret shop and detailed drawings.
  • Knowledge of aluminum systems (Curtain Wall, Sliding, Hinged, Cladding).
  • Familiarity with standard measuring and quality control tools.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Personal Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team supervision abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Accuracy and commitment to deadlines.
  • Effective communication with all stakeholders on-site.
