Senior PHP Developer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior PHP Developer located in Abu Qir. The Senior PHP Developer will work on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and back-end systems. Responsibilities include writing efficient and reusable code, collaborating with front-end developers, implementing software solutions, and performing code reviews to ensure high-quality standards. The role requires regular collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and innovative software solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience in Front-End Development, including integrating user-facing elements with back-end logic
• Strong skills in general Programming and Software Development
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex codebases
• Understanding of database architecture and SQL are a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive mindset
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based web applications
• Lead architectural decisions and technical discussions
• Mentor and support junior engineers
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Implement best practices for security and data protection
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Write and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in PHP development
• Proficiency with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
