Role Description & Responsibilities:

This is a full-time, on-site role for an
Export Manager
, located in Cairo, Egypt.

• The Export Manager will oversee and manage the export operations, including developing strategies for expanding into international markets, coordinating with international clients and partners, and ensuring compliance with export regulations
• managing supply chain operations, negotiating contracts, and analyzing market trends to identify business opportunities. The Export Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive international sales and meet organizational goals
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by maintaining professional partnership with export customers and understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction
• Continuous networking and prospecting to increase business volume by planning and implementing effective export sales strategies
• Follow up on the requirements and documentation as per the prevailing market's regulatory bodies
• Determine the appropriate market to enter based on the factory's capabilities and develop a GMP plan based on the targeted markets
• Develop and execute the company's export strategy in line with corporate objectives.
• Identify new international markets and business opportunities.
• Establish and manage relationships with international clients, distributors, and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare and manage export documentation, contracts, and logistics.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with international trade laws, export regulations, and pharmaceutical guidelines (GMP), Good Knowledge in CTD and eCTD, etc
• Prepare price lists and proposals to prospects alongside negotiating deal terms based on the target markets
• Follow up on customer orders through order processes until post-delivery feedback, which includes reviewing shipment documentation (invoices, packing lists, certification of origin, and bill of lading, etc.) and ensuring receipt of payments on their due dates
• Plan efficient shipping schedules to achieve shorter lead times and timely deliveries to the customers while following the legal requirements of each country
• Attended international trade events and exhibitions as well as organized and conducted business meetings with overseas clients on a regular basis
• Take initiative to develop constructive and effective solutions and avoid recurrence of issues to optimize export services and improve the overall sales performance
• Handle administrative tasks and timely managing of multiple lines of communication both inter and intra- vis-a-vis subsidiaries

Qualifications

• Proficiency in International Trade, Export Operations, and Supply Chain Management
• Strong skills in Market Research, Business Development, and Sales Strategy
• Knowledge of Trade Regulations, Compliance, and Contract Negotiation
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and team collaboration
• Analytical mindset with skills in Data Analysis and Market Trend Assessment
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with international clients and partners
• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Trade, Business Administration, or related field
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related sectors is advantageous
• Fluency in English is mandatory, additional language proficiency is a plus
