Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telesales Representative to join our sales team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for generating new business opportunities by effectively communicating the transformative power of the Odoo platform. The ideal candidate is a persuasive communicator, a quick learner, and has a proven track record of selling B2B software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively make outbound calls to a targeted list of potential clients to generate new qualified sales leads.
- Needs Analysis: Conduct discovery calls to understand a prospect's business challenges, pain points, and current software ecosystem.
- Product Demonstration: Articulate the features and benefits of Odoo software clearly and persuasively, tailoring the value proposition to the prospect's specific needs.
- Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using our CRM system (Odoo CRM, of course).
- Qualification & Nurturing: Qualify leads based on budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT criteria), and nurture them through the initial stages of the sales cycle.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified demonstrations and meetings for the Account Executive or Senior Sales team.
- Market Feedback: Serve as the "ears" of the company, gathering market intelligence and customer feedback to help shape our sales and product strategies.
- Achieving Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for calls, qualified leads, and scheduled appointments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in a telesales, inside sales, or business development role, specifically selling B2B software or SaaS products.
- Odoo Knowledge (Preferred): Hands-on experience with Odoo is a significant advantage. Familiarity with competing platforms like Salesforce, SAP Business One, or Microsoft Dynamics is also valuable.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.
- Resilience & Persistence: A tenacious and goal-oriented mindset with the ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
- Tech-Savvy: Quick to learn and explain new software and technology concepts.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using a CRM system to track activities and manage a pipeline.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
