Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented 2D Animator to join our creative team. As a 2D Animator, you will

  • Bring stories to life with slick motion design and eye-popping animation.
  • Animate characters and graphics in After Effects (keyframes are your love language)
  • Illustrate and storyboard in Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Add depth with basic 3D work in Blender or Maya
  • Obsess over timing, easing, and visual flair

Responsibilities:

  • Create frame-by-frame (hand-drawn) animations and keyframe animations with precision and creativity.
  • Rig characters using tools like Duik or Joystick.
  • Design and execute creative storyboards and bring ideas to life.
  • Utilize AI tools to enhance design and animation workflows.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure quality and alignment with project goals.

Requirements:

  • Strong Animation Skills:
     Proficiency in frame-by-frame animation and keyframe techniques.
  • Understanding of Animation Principles:
     Strong grasp of movement, timing, and spacing.
  • Software Expertise:
     Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Rigging Experience:
     Experience in character rigging with tools like Duik or Joystick.
  • Artistic Abilities:
     Excellent drawing and illustration skills using a tablet.
  • Creative Storyboarding:
     Ability to design storyboards and conceptualize creative ideas.
