About the Job

Teaba is hiring a 
Quality Control Engineer
 to join our fabrication and engineering execution team. You'll support—and eventually lead—NDT activities and quality assurance workflows in alignment with 
ASME codes
.

This role begins with direct mentorship and grows into full ownership of inspection, documentation, QC reporting, and non-destructive testing across our natural gas and industrial projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform and support 
    non-destructive testing (NDT/NDE)
     on welded and fabricated assemblies.
  • Develop and manage all 
    quality control documentation
     according to 
    ASME codes and Teaba's QC Manual
    .
  • Participate in internal and third-party inspections.
  • Track and resolve non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
  • Ensure all fabrication and welding processes comply with industry codes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and production teams to validate drawing compliance.
  • Assist with documentation handover packages for clients and authorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 0–2 years of relevant QC or fabrication inspection experience.
  • Familiarity with 
    ASME standards
     and quality requirements in industrial manufacturing.
  • Basic understanding of NDE methods (VT, PT, UT, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail, organized documentation habits, and process discipline.
  • Bonus: NDE certification or training.
  • AutoCAD proficiency is a
    must.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and committed to safety and quality.
