Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing the visibility and reputation of IEREK Press journals through strategic outreach, digital marketing, and support in academic indexation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote IEREK Press journals across academic and professional communities.
  • Manage and grow the social media presence of IEREK Press journals (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, etc.) by creating engaging and relevant content.
  • Identify, reach out to, and follow up with academics and professionals to renew and expand the editorial boards of IEREK Press journals.
  • Assist in preparing documentation and submitting applications for journal indexation in databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and DOAJ.
  • Organize and execute email marketing campaigns for journal promotion, including new issues, calls for papers, and special editions.
  • Track and analyze marketing metrics to evaluate performance and provide regular reports.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with editorial and production teams to synchronize marketing efforts with publication timelines.
  • Stay informed about trends in academic publishing and digital marketing to enhance strategies and outreach.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in any related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience in social media management and digital marketing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with academic publishing or scholarly communication is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
