Role Description

The Technical Procurement Team Leader-Mechanical will oversee the procurement processes for mechanical equipment and materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective operations. This full-time role includes tasks such as managing equipment sourcing, supervising procurement strategies, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations, and optimizing inventory control systems. The role is on-site and based in Cairo, Egypt.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of procurement experience
  • Strong knowledge

of procurement practices in construction and contracting
- Expertise in managing and optimizing maintenance activities
- Strong organizational and team leadership skills
- Familiarity with procurement processes and working knowledge of supply chain management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management abilities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making aptitude under tight deadlines
