We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Cost Control Engineer to join our dynamic team at a leading construction firm. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing cost control processes, ensuring that all construction projects are delivered on budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Your expertise will support strategic financial planning and decision-making across multiple projects and align with our company's goals for efficiency and financial stewardship.

Responsibilitie

  • sDevelop and maintain project cost control systems to enhance forecasting accuracy
  • .Analyze and report on project financial performance, identifying cost variances
  • .Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to prepare and maintain project budgets and schedules
  • .Implement and monitor cost control procedures and standards for ongoing construction projects
  • .Conduct regular financial audits on project expenditures to ensure compliance with budgets
  • .Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including cost analysis and projections
  • .Review project change orders and assess their financial impact on budgets and cash flow
  • .Provide training and mentorship to junior cost control engineers in best practices and methodologies
  • .Participate in project meetings to provide financial updates and support management in strategic decision-making

Requiremen**

  • tsBachelor's degree in Engineerin
  • g.Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis within the construction industr
  • y.Proficient in cost control software and tools, such as Primavera P6, MS Excel, and other project management softwar
  • e.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make sound recommendation
  • s.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse project teams and stakeholder
  • s.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a plu
  • s.Thorough understanding of construction processes and contractual agreement
