The Security Software Developer Team Lead is a highly leadership role requiring coordination across team members and our stakeholders (ex: our vendors, Presales, Product Management, Implementation and the Operations teams)
- Your Roles and Responsibilities will be as follows:_
- Lead a development team with both local and remote team members and take technical responsibility for all the stages and iterations of a software development project. Manage development using agreed specifications to design, code, test and document systems using appropriate standards and tools.
- Have a depth of knowledge in information security, be able to design systems with controls that mitigate against common security threats.
- Provide technical advice to stakeholders and help select appropriate design standards, methods and tools for use by our team.
- Ensuring software testing is undertaken prior to rollout.
- Advise product managers and project managers on the complexities of planned work, including providing time and resource estimates in the planning of projects.
- Work across the technical community to improve our software, share knowledge and improve processes / practices when developing software.
- Manage problems and ensure they are handled properly according to processes and guidelines.
- Manage escalations and ensure escalated issues are progressing toward resolution.
- Manage hiring (CV scanning, interviewing and selection) & enrollment (Seating, Induction, etc.) and departure/replacement (database cleanup, assets collection, etc.) of employees in & out of the team.
- Work closely with Team Head to enhance workflow and advise with proper process changes that increase team productivity.
- Manage team resources (roster) allocation and availability (attendance and leaves) to ensure operations/projects are covered with enough resources.
- Help in managing customer demands to ensure maximum satisfaction, and to maintain quality over quantity.
- Supervise activities between internal and external resources and facilitate smooth workflow for service delivery.
- Act as the backup of the Team Head whenever needed.
- Develop team training plans and ensure all team members are receiving the required business, interpersonal skills, technical training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Contribute to company communication with team members and answering employees’ questions when applicable.
- Constantly monitor, measuring and guide team towards compliance to procedures, performance targets, short and long-term goals and overall KPIs set for the department and for team individuals.
- Working closely with team members to identify each member’s strength and assign tasks accordingly based on their technical skills and time schedule to achieve maximum results and delivery.
- Each half, contribute to team members’ performance review based on their assigned goals and final deliverables and achievements.
- Conduct regular weekly service & team meetings.
- Remain knowledgeable of current technologies and the new market trends that can be used to achieve maximum results.
- Lead team members to help them in complex issues, changes, and communication during crisis to advise with better troubleshooting and resolution paths.

**About you**:
**1. Educational background**
- University degree (Engineering degree preferred) or B.A/MIS degree.
- Business & management studies (Service/Operation management, project management, process lean management, ITIL Foundation, etc...) are plus.

**2. Professional Experience**:

- At least 2 years of management experience.
- At least 6 years of security software development technical experience.
- At least 2 years of practice in an ITIL managed activity.

**3. Skills and Qualifications**:

- 6+ years’ commercial development experience using industry leading frameworks and languages (e.g. Django/Python, Java, Node,.Net)
