**Job Title**: Video Editor

**Location**: Remote

**Working Days**: Monday through Friday (5 days a week)

**Working Hours**:
The working hours for this position are 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM EST to align with our office hours. In Egypt's time zone:

- During standard time (EET, UTC+2), the working hours will be 3:30 PM - 12:30 AM.
- During daylight saving time (EEST, UTC+3), which begins on April 25, 2025, the working hours will shift to 4:30 PM - 1:30 AM.

**Responsibilities**:

- Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling, high-quality videos for multiple platforms, including social media, websites, and broadcast.
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet tight turnaround times without compromising on quality.
- Collaborate closely with production and marketing teams to ensure alignment with project goals and brand guidelines.
- Implement creative storytelling techniques and stay current with the latest video editing trends and technologies.
- Handle color grading, sound editing, and mixing to enhance the overall quality of videos.
- Create and add graphics, animations, and visual effects as needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across different video styles and formats.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Creative vision and storytelling skills to produce engaging and impactful content.
- In-depth knowledge of video compression techniques and export settings for various platforms.
- Experience with motion graphics and sound design.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and workflows.
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet tight turnaround times without compromising on quality.

**Remote Requirements**:

- Strong technical problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities for remote collaboration, and adaptability to various software tools.
- Essential equipment includes high-quality headphones for audio editing and external storage solutions for managing large files.

**Communication and Collaboration Skills**:

- Proficiency in remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Google Drive).
- Ability to participate effectively in virtual meetings.
- Comfortable with occasional video check-ins to maintain team engagement.
- Strong time management skills to balance multiple projects efficiently.
