Within CNS, the mission of Commercial Management team is to drive profitable growth and to significantly improve long term profitability across CNS portfolio for all areas of business (product, professional services, care), preventing value leakage and developing consistent, high quality pricing practices through optimized commercial models and support all stages of product and solution life cycle. We drive actions to establish standards and discipline for pricing and business practices, and to ensure right commercial enablement and commercial execution in key frontline customer cases. Furthermore, we provide regular capability development for new commercial and pricing models.

The Pricing Specialist is the key stakeholder in the Offering process. The Pricing Specialist is responsible for commercial and pricing model development and implementation and interacts with Customer Facing Commercial Managers, Sales Leader, Account Managers, Presales Lead,Legal and Compliance and Offer Control for bid approval. The pricing specialist is also responsible to provide insights into the commercial implications of various Pricing/Commercial models/alternatives, Commercial terms, and conditions. he also takes into cognizance the customer presence and competitor insights to propose alternative Commercial strategies to have a positive impact on the long-term profitability of the business.

- Understanding of commercial and technological developments in the industry.
- Provides knowledge and insights useful in the development of future business / commercial models.
- Recommends appropriate commercial strategies to the market teams based on global benchmarking, life-time value of the product, customer, market and competition.
- Manages L2D process (License to Deal approval process) commitments for any request deviating from approved products and services portfolio, approved roadmaps, approved releases and support policy and terms and conditions.
- Collaborates closely and supports Customer Facing Commercial Managers to enable offer submission or escalation to next approval levels.
- Prepare key technical, commercial, and contractual topics.
- Defines and monitors key commercial KPIs of a deal throughout its lifecycle.
- Proposes mitigation for value leakage and up-sell deviation observed between deal approval and contract in force.
- Drives actions to improve margins and minimize price erosion.
- Supports design and implementation of new analytics processes and automation.
Follow all Nokia Information Security policies and guidelines including ISMS (ISO27001 program)
**Your skills and experience**
- University degree in Engineering
- 2-5 Years of experience in telecom industry or as a bid manager in another industry.
- Familiarity with the telecom industry
- Broad technical understanding of telecom product portfolio and customer use cases.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise
- Understanding of commercial terms and conditions and ability to assess impact.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Additional education/learning in Finance/ Negotiation strategies/contract management
- Knowledge of sales process and Nokia tools like NPT, sCRM, WTD
- Understanding of Cloud and Network Services
- 2 years of work experience in SaaS environment
