**Role Summary/Overview**

The City Marketing Specialist is a crucial touch point between talabat’s partner restaurants, customers, and marketing team. They will work with an energetic, creative team to reach new potential customers through running offline marketing events and activations, through administering marketing partnerships with top companies in Egypt, and through coordinating discount campaign marketing with the various marketing channels.

The City Marketing Executive is talabat’s boots on the ground. They are responsible for the offline marketing activities in Restaurants, Universities, Clubs, Events and more. Thereby increasing awareness of talabat through real human interaction and out of home branding.

This role requires a self-motivated individual who loves to be where the action is. The ideal marketer will be organized and detail oriented. They will be charismatic and work well teams. Most importantly, they will love sharing tasty food, and a great service with people.

**Role Scope**:

- Execute the quarterly marketing plan and participate in developing quarterly strategies based on the allocated budget from the central marketing team.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, AM, partnerships etc.) and external media, marketing agencies to execute the marketing plan.
- Own the marketing activities calendar and keeping track of projects and ensuring timely delivery of tactical and brand campaigns in alignment with partners and stakeholders (AM team, Partnerships team)
- Monitor campaign objectives and evaluating campaign performance: reach, engagement, orders volume, customer acquisition etc.
- Supporting social and digital content and proposing new local channels with alignment with the digital team.
- Drive the growth in the Delta cluster by analysing and segmenting our customer base through running reactivation campaigns, retention campaigns and new acquisition campaigns with alignment with the CRM team.
- Ensure a data-driven decision making to design campaigns, choose the right channel mix strategy and the right target audience to achieve the campaign objectives.
- Support in developing and executing end-to-end growth campaigns.
- Ensure proper campaign go-to-market with a focus on measurement and reporting; tracking campaign results on a daily basis and enhance performance.
- Understand customer behaviour through analysis, on-ground feedback from customers and sales to develop actionable insights.

**Key Performance Indicators**:

- Ability to manage the execution of the complete project from planning to timely delivery
- Ability to learn fast and take ownership of projects and KPIs ensuring budget in kept in check and stakeholders are involved as needed
- Interest in contributing to building a strategy and driving new and effective ideas
- Demonstrated collaborative attitude, both internally and externally
- Driving growth (orders, customer base, affordability orders contribution) through a data driven mindset.

**Skills & Qualifications needed**:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business is an edge.
- 2-3 years of experience in Marketing.
- Proficiency in excel/PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong aptitude with numbers
- Strong time management and prioritization ability
