An agile product owner is a person who is responsible for defining and maximizing the value of the products that an Agile development team builds. Agile Product Owners are cross-functional professionals who interact with several departments and teams. These include product team members, the senior management team, product users, and other stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities
- Agile product owners collect feedback, process it, and then prioritize it for the development team.
- The product owner is responsible for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the scrum team
- Internalize the product vision and the goals that the product manager has set for the product or in some cases to define the vision of the product and the objectives that come with it.
- Define the product evolution, features, capabilities and epics based on the strategy set and by demand.
- Ensure that the team members have a cohesive understanding of what is expected from them.
- They own the product and must ensure that all the technical aspects of the product and its features meet user requirements.
- The product owner plays a significant role in the creation and evolution of the product backlog during its respective lifecycle.
- Work side-by-side with the development team and other stakeholders.
- Encourage and promote feedback culture.
- Share progress with all the stakeholders at each development stage.
- Communicate and collaborate with the development team, the Scrum Master, and all the stakeholders.
- Define and manage the lifecycle of the product.

Must have technical / professional qualifications, knowledge and experience in network technologies:

- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in development, design, agile framework, software development and scrum approach
- Strong decision making skills
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in Network Technologies with deep knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN).
- Knowledge of SDN protocols, Rest, Restconf, NetConf and YANG data models, APIs

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

- Defining the Product vision, goals and epics.
- Define the scope of the product releases.
- Product backlog management
- Ensure that the team members have a cohesive understanding of what is expected from them.
- Decisions on a daily basis ranging from what items to include in the product backlog, how to prioritize them, and how to best communicate the same to the scrum team.
- Communicate and collaborate with the development team, the Scrum Master, and all the stakeholders.
- Automation Use Cases definition and roadmap.
