Microbiology Specialist

Egypt (Cairo)- Supply Chain- On-site- Early Careers**JOB PURPOSE**:

- Executes Quality Program defined for CCH Egypt to ensure safe and good quality of all products.
- Conducts required Microbiological tests on raw materials, semi-finished and finished products as required.
- Implements Good Lab/Manufacturing/Warehouse Practices.
- Communicates and reports all data related to products safety and quality.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Implements CCH Egypt’s Food Safety & Quality Management System.
- Supports and monitors the implementation of all Good Lab/Manufacturing/Warehouse Practices (cleaning and sanitizing processes - personal hygiene measures).
- Supervises the activities of technicians and workers.
- Actively participate in the improvement of the GMP status of the plant.
- Carries out all required quality checks on the incoming materials (ingredients and packaging), semi-finished and finished products as required.
- Ensure proper implementation of the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP).
- Monitors and controls microbial analysis of FP and RM.
- Adheres to all health and safety standards.
- Supports with the investigation of received complaints from DCs, Customers & Consumers.
- Lead communication with external lab. Analyses - In case of need.
- Analytical methods and tests:

- Executes Microbial SOPs on raw materials, semi-finished and finished products.
- Ensure Calibration plan is strictly adhered to for all lab. Devices.
- Monitors, verifies Product microbiological results and ensures compliance.

**Reporting**:

- Maintains all related records on daily basis.
- Records results and study trends to drive improvement.
- Ensure timely release of products dependent on the analysis results.

**Education**
- Bachelor of Agriculture (Food Industries Section) / Science/ Vet. Medicine / pharmacy.
- Years of Experience: 0-2 Years.

**Technical Experience**
- Relevant Lab analyses.
- HACCP awareness.
- Food safety QMS awareness.
- Report writing skills.
