**About the role**:
This role is responsible for managing the Market Intelligence team and driving global market intelligence insights activities, delivering actionable insights and recommendation to the senior leadership team and regional teams in different countries i.e. Sales & Marketing, Strategy, Product development, Finance, and other key functions
Gather and evaluate relevant internal and market data to review addressable market and target market list, identify regional opportunities and help to build a companywide view on market.
Understand and articulate unique drivers worldwide; help us get to the next level of insight about market drivers and data and communicate this to key stakeholders in an actionable way
Deliver insights and capabilities to support strategic, financial, and operational processes
Define data acquisition strategy to expand coverage
Build a scalable data ecosystem and analytics backbone in collaboration
Building automated ETL data processing schemes
Compiling, cleanup, verification, and evaluation of data
Sourcing data providers and assessment of new data sources
Retrieve new value from the data together with data providers.
Estimation of market potential and growth per segment and per geography
Build score models and identify business signals from the data available
Client segmentation based on the data
Build and support datasets
Design and build dashboards to operationalize data based on business needs and processes
Work with IT to industrialize data models, storage and dashboards to make it scalable, flexible, up-to-date and reliable.
**About you**:
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, information science or related field, or equivalent work experience. Academic qualification or professional training are also desirable.
At least 5 years of experience in analytics or data analysis.
Experience in IT/Telecom companies and knowledge of high-level product and services structure, main markets on the level of definitions and dependencies
Experience in managing real or virtual geographically distributed teams, e.g. as a project manager
A strong skillset across the Microsoft BI Stack (SQL, SSIS, Power BI)
Data mining, preparation, and modeling experience.
Experience with KNIME would be ideal, but other ETL platforms would be fine (Talend, Informatica, SAS)
Experience in customer segmentation and analytical modelling, including prediction and propensity
Experience in an analyst role with a focus on customer insight, market and marketing data
Proven experience managing and delivering a wide variety of analytic solutions
Ability to multitask and deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present clear information in a range of ways and who relishes compelling storytelling
Advanced (written/spoken) English
French is a plus
**Additional information**:
Within International Business Marketing, the Market Intelligence Team is responsible for the analysis of market intelligence data and the provision of recommendations on target market, the definition and agreement with sales on the target market list, the provision of customer / prospect insights and propensity to buy for the sales teams. This role supports the Head of IB Market Intelligence through the following activities.
Manage process of data collection from internal and external sources
Convert data into business signals, modeling
Build and support TML tool in PowerBI platform
Supply marketing campaign owners with target lists
Intent-based lists
The role is open in Brazil, India, Cairo, Slovakia - other locations open to discussion
