**Project Description**:
The WESE program is designed to engage, leverage, and partner with the private sector as well as public social service initiatives to encourage women’s participation in the workforce; generate demand for financial services; promote tailored, market-based solutions to women’s economic empowerment; and strengthen GBV prevention and response such that women become more economically and socially resilient.

WESE activities **_integrate, mutually reinforcing private and public sector-led approaches_** that aim to **_change power relationships, transform structures, and build agency_** to effect results along critical change pathways. The program interventions are designed to lead women in priority governorates feeling safe, valued, and empowered at work; motivated and able to embrace financial autonomy; and respected and free from violence in their homes, communities, and workplaces.

The program works closely with **_market-based partners_** to develop, lead, scale, sustain, and champion innovative solutions, recognizing the economic AND social benefits of gender-inclusive, empowering policies and practices.

**Job Summary**:
The Field Implementation Manager will be responsible for overall, day-to-day project implementation at the governorate level. This involves liaising with local NGOs, Field Officers and other counterparts to ensure smooth implementation of all activities across all objectives as well as MEL activities. In coordination with DCOP, Community Engagement Specialist and other team leads, s/he will oversee workplans of all governorate activities and ensure full integration of interventions.

**Primary Responsibilities and Duties**:
With mínimal administrative oversight, essential responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

- Oversee operations and technical activities in field offices to ensure full coordination with Team Leads
- In collaboration with the COP/DCOP, manage and plan national activities and events with WESE stakeholders (working groups, and SCs)
- Liaise with Field Officers to ensure effective planning of field activities, and plans
- Provide needed support for Field Officers to effectively manage sub-grants component, as well as NGOs capacity building.
- Support the technical team to assess the training needs and planning for training development.
- Support Field Officers to plan local activities and ensure compliance with donors' requirements.
- in coordination with Team Leads, support the development of training materials and technical assistance packages to NGOs
- Develop training manual and event preparation process guides including best practices and budget guidelines for Field Offices.
- Oversee USAID TEAMS data entry and management as well as all relevant requirements for training activities.
- Maintain training and events databases of participants in close coordination with the MEL team and IT Manager.
- Provide management and support to Field Offices in the planning, scheduling, organizing, and implementation of project interventions, where needed.
- Coordinate with finance and accounting teams all issues related to field activities budgets, expenditures, and overall costing.
- Monitor achievement of project objectives and takes a lead role in the preparation of quarterly, annual, and other programmatic Field Offices reports
- Develop and monitor operational plans and budgets, and ensures the smooth flow of resources to field activities
- Ensures full compliance with USAID rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field AND a minimum of five years of related experience OR any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
- Experience in USAID funded projects is highly preferred.

**Effort, Reporting and Other Administrative Requirements**:
The Field Implementation Manager is a full-time position that reports to the Deputy Chief of Party who will coordinate with he/she on all programmatic aspects of his/her employment, including but not limited to job description, duties, qualifications, working environment, and performance. The Field Manager will be based in Cairo, Egypt.

**Working environment**:
This position will include intensive interaction with the field team and offices. The position will include frequent local travel to various locations within Egypt, specifically WESE defined governorates.
